Take the Time to Enjoy Thanksgiving with Family

 In Breaking News

We are very thankful to be able to close shop for Thanksgiving, taking some much needed time to enjoy with friends and family. Taking time off is key to finding the perfect work/life balance. As independent agency business owners, we sometimes get so busy that we forget to take time for ourselves. Remember that the support of your friends and family are part of your success, so be sure to take the time this Thanksgiving to say thank you!

Take the time to thank your clients, and most importantly, your friends and family who supported you in starting your independent agency.

Thursday, November 24th – Friday, November 25th – CLOSED

Don’t leave your client hanging over the holidays

If you are closing the office, make sure your clients are aware of your holiday hours. Accidents can happen at any time, and it’s important to tell clients who may need your help how they can reach you or what to do in case they need help filing a claim over the holidays.

Make sure you set up appropriate auto-replies on your email, that all emergency contact numbers are written correctly, and that you have given detailed instructions on how to get help filing a claim if it is outside of your opening hours.

Holiday marketing campaigns

Marketing advice for the holidays

Starting an independent agency or small business requires the support of your friends and family. Be sure to thank them this Thanksgiving.

If you’ve initiated marketing campaigns during the holidays, make sure that you have enough staff on hand to handle extra client volume. It’s no use engaging your core client base with social media marketing campaigns if there is no one there to service your clients.

Provide a positive customer service experience

Everyone is busy over the holidays. If your campaign encourages people to seek your help to get proper insurance before the year is over, then you need to make sure that you have people available to take calls, answer emails, or engage in social media posts helping each client and making their busy holiday schedule a little more manageable.

Customer service during the holidays

Make sure your clients are aware of your holiday hours and any emergency contact information that they’ll need.

As independent agents, you are here to make the insurance buying process easy and efficient for your clients. Creating a positive customer service experience, especially over the holidays, will have a lasting impact on clients that could result in word of mouth advertising that is the lifeblood of every independent agency or small business.

“Thank you” to all of our clients and members

As we get ready to stuff our turkey and our stomachs, we’d like to say “thank you” to all of our independent insurance agents in Colorado, Arizona, and Utah, and wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving!
