The death toll has been rising and 365,000 people are in shelters, some without electricity. Power is being restored to some cities but many are still without power.
There is hope for the people of Japan. The Japanese Red Cross is fighting the oil shortage by using bicycles to deliver food and medical supplies.
The American Red Cross has donated $10 million to their partners the Japanese Red Cross.
