Affordable American Insurance is always looking to help out our local community. One of our agents from the Bicknell Insurance office, Kelley K Gardner is walking to support the Denver Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. She wants to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer.
Breast Cancer
Many have been affected by breast cancer. It is important that each and every one of us does our part to make breast cancer a disease of the past. Breast cancer knows no boundary, be it age, gender, socio-economic status or geographic location. One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.
That’s one in eight within your company, school, and organization!
The key to survival is early detection. Three simple steps for early detection are:
• regular mammograms
• clinical exams
• breast self-exams.
